SMS Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern recurring SMS and MMS communications from Atlas Connections, Inc. regarding recruiting services, job opportunities, applications, interviews and related candidate updates.
1. Introduction and Information Sharing
Atlas Connections, Inc. (“Atlas Connections,” “Atlas,” “we,” “us” or “our”) may use and disclose personal information as described below in order to provide and administer its messaging program.
- Messaging service providers. We may provide personal information to platform providers, telecommunications carriers and other vendors that assist us in delivering and administering text messages. These providers may use the information only to support the messaging service.
- Affiliates and operational providers. We may disclose information to affiliates or service providers when reasonably necessary for business operations, subject to applicable privacy obligations.
- SMS consent data. Mobile telephone numbers, text-messaging originator opt-in information and SMS consent will not be sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
2. Purpose of SMS Communications
Atlas Connections may send SMS or MMS messages to individuals who have expressly opted in for purposes including:
- Sharing relevant job opportunities and recruiting information.
- Providing application, candidate-submission or hiring-process updates.
- Scheduling, confirming or changing interviews and recruiting conversations.
- Following up regarding candidate interest, availability, qualifications or next steps.
- Providing offers, placements, onboarding and other candidate-care communications.
3. Opt-In and Consent
By providing your mobile telephone number and affirmatively opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the number provided and consent to receive recurring SMS and MMS messages from Atlas Connections for the purposes described above. Consent may be provided through a clear, one-to-one written or verbal interaction, an application or website form with an affirmative selection, or another method that clearly communicates your agreement. Merely including a telephone number on a resume, profile or application does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive recurring text messages.
Message frequency varies based on your recruiting activity and communications with Atlas Connections. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of employment, job consideration or receiving recruiting services.
4. Opt-Out Instructions
You may withdraw your consent and stop receiving text messages at any time:
- Reply STOP to any Atlas Connections text message.
- You may also email Molly@AtlasConnect.com and request to be removed from SMS communications.
After opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message and no further SMS or MMS messages will be sent to your number unless you subsequently opt in again.

6. Messaging Keywords and Automated Responses
The following keywords and confirmation messages apply to the Atlas Connections messaging program:
Opt-in keyword: START
Opt-in confirmation message: Atlas Connections: Thank you for opting in to receive recurring recruiting and candidate communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.
Opt-out keywords: STOP
Opt-out confirmation message: Atlas Connections: You have successfully opted out and will receive no further text messages. Reply START if you wish to opt in again.
Help keyword: HELP
Help response: Atlas Connections: For assistance, email Molly@AtlasConnect.com, call 410-924-0520 or visit https://atlasconnect.com. Reply STOP to opt out.
7. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to you by Atlas Connections and to messages you send to us. Please consult your wireless service provider regarding your messaging plan, rates and other applicable charges.
8. Privacy and Data Security
Atlas Connections values your privacy and uses personal information for legitimate recruiting, candidate-care and business purposes. We do not sell or rent personal information, mobile telephone numbers or SMS consent data. We may disclose information to service providers that assist us in operating the messaging program, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect legal rights and fulfill contractual obligations. Service providers are expected to safeguard the information and use it only for the services they provide to Atlas Connections.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including recruiting, candidate relationship management, legal, accounting, compliance and reporting requirements. When information is no longer required, Atlas Connections may delete, de-identify or securely dispose of it in accordance with applicable law and operational needs.
10. Compliance with Messaging Requirements
Atlas Connections intends to operate its messaging program in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and carrier requirements, including relevant provisions of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and industry messaging standards. Recipients are provided clear methods to request help, opt out and manage messaging preferences.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold Atlas Connections harmless from claims arising from your voluntary provision of a telephone number that you do not own or control, or your failure to notify Atlas Connections that your telephone number has changed or is no longer under your control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Participation Requirements
To participate in the Atlas Connections messaging program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Own or be authorized to use a wireless device capable of two-way text messaging.
- Have service through a participating wireless carrier with text-messaging capabilities.
Wireless carrier support and delivery are not guaranteed. Atlas Connections and participating carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages to the extent permitted by law.
13. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
By participating in the messaging program, you agree that disputes relating to the program will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class or representative action. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you waive the right to a jury trial and agree that claims will be resolved through final and binding arbitration. If you do not agree to this provision, do not participate in the messaging program.
14. Miscellaneous
You represent that you have the legal right and authority to agree to these Terms and Conditions and that your participation does not violate another agreement or obligation. If any provision is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Atlas Connections may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Material updates may be communicated through an appropriate channel, and the effective date above will be updated. Continued participation after notice of a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
